Into the Pacific Northwest
This past weekend I had the pleasure of driving from LA all the way up to Oregon and Washington. I left on Wednesday afternoon with two dudes (Daniel @dmalikyar and Mike @awokenphotography) that I had never met before. I knew we all had things in common though, especially the thirst for adventure. We drove straight there with just a couple hour nap in Northern California. Since I just moved from the PNW I knew a few spots we should hit. First stop was the waterfalls of Oregon (Columbia River Gorge and Abiqua). After nearly dying trying to get down to Abiqua falls we all were able to capture some amazing content. That night we were fortunate enough to stay with friends and explore the Portland breweries. The next morning we were up and out by 5am with our first stop being the infamous Rowena Crest. That day was full of crazy experiences like a drive through zoo, and exploring the Olympic Peninsula. For our last day in Washington we set out to Vance Creek Bridge for sunrise. Followed by an epic helicopter ride over downtown Seattle and surrounding areas, thank you Seattlehelitours.com for taking us up!!
As I write this quick entry I am fortunate to be able to recall so many amazing places, people, and experiences. This past year has taken me to so many places that I truly have fallen in love with. Life is grand life is good.
